Happy Holidays you guys! Hopefully by now you're all up to your necks in food and holiday leftovers, preparing to tie up the year the way you want - at home with family and friends or out painting the town red. We spend every New Year's Eve in Dubai and look forward to it as a chance to get dolled up and ring in the New Year right until the sun comes up on January 1st. If you're like us, you've waited precisely until the morning of December 31st to come up with an outfit for the event. Luckily with a little help from Le Chateau, we put together two simple but stunning outfits to help you and your bae strut into 2018 looking chic as ever.

Ladies - I've been trying to wear a lot more colour this year, but in the end a black jumpsuit is a fail safe option. Free flowing, and elegant. Dress it up, or dress it down. Best of all? I'll actually wear it after New Year's Eve. Too many of my New Year's outfits have been one and done pieces that never saw the light of day again.

Guys - I've always had a bit of an aversion to wearing a dress shirt on its own, so, instead, I love popping the collar on my shirt to have it peek through the top under a turtleneck sweater. I think it adds a little more structure to my silhouette and is a step up from the standard shirt/sweater under blazer look. To add a little character and texture to this monochrome outfit, I pulled on my favourite patterned trousers and finished things off with a comfortable yet classic pair of tasseled loafers.

Here's wishing you all a very, very Happy New Year! 2017 had its fair share of ups and downs, but we have a feeling 2018 is going to be epic.

See you in the new year!
