Happy Monday y'all!

Hope your week is off to a great start. I don't know about you but I, for one, really need a nap.

I wanted to kick this post off by shouting out the real MVP, Le Chateau, for helping me find some of my absolute favourite pieces for the fall/winter this year - these badass studded ankle boots and my new wardrobe staple - a drool-worthy black overcoat.

Confession: Until Friday, I had been wearing the same black trench coat for the last 7 years - since a school trip to Boston in 2011. Slightly embarrassing, I know!

Truth be told, in spite of its raggedy appearance (torn inseams and all), the coat did its job and that's as far as I was concerned. While browsing Le Chateau over the weekend, I came across this long line overcoat and knew it was time for an upgrade. While we're still experiencing milder than normal weather, this is *the* perfect coat to take to work or for an evening out. It classes me up on days when I look a little worse for wear, and perfectly complements my more put-together looks. Catch me living in this coat for the next few months - that is, until the snow hits *screams internally*.

Now, let's talk about these BOOTS! Most of my winter footwear consists of basic AF block heeled ankle boots, which is a problem because ain't nobody got the patience to waddle around in block heels Monday-to-Friday. These boots are flat and fancy, proving you don't have to put on heels to elevate your outfit. I love the edge and personality they add to an otherwise everyday look.  And for another 6 hours, they're going for only $77 (originally $110). So go get 'em!!
